GRANT YESKE 1955 - 2010 On Tuesday, January 12, Grant sailed off on a new adventure. Grant's love will always be with his wife Terry Sheyka and Ruby, sister Gail, Roger, Kurtis and Mitchell Giasson, mother Jean, and awaiting Grant is his father Gus. Always with all of us. For Grant's family were his friends and his friends were his family. Grant was born in the North End and the North End stayed in his heart. ( Hoy, Hoy, Hoy! I'm a Winnipeg boy! ) In 1999, Grant retired from his successful self-built auto glass company. Grant lived life to the fullest. Whether at the helm of his sailboat, ridin' the throttle of his Harley, dancing till dawn or hanging with his pals. The wind was always in his hair. Grant, everyone's go to guy is gone, and we all have lost an anchor. Family and friends will gather for a celebration at The Riverview Community Club, 90 Ashland Ave., Sunday, January 17, 2:00 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined. Wearing flowered shirts welcomed. Please bring your favourite photo.

Dear Family & Friends of Grant I am deeply sorry for your loss. I was a very good platonic friend of Grant's in the 1970s before I moved away from Winnipeg to pursue my training in Calgary and Minneapolis. He was a wonderful person and friend. With sympathy Dr. Alana K Matwychuk now in Truro, Nova Scotia - Posted by: Alana Matwychuk (Friend) on: Jan 18, 2010
